Palm Beach Wedding Photographer: 22 Years of Photographing Weddings at Palm Beach
I’ve been capturing weddings at Palm Beach for over 22 years now, and it is hands down one of my favourite places to photograph a couple on their wedding day.
There is something really special about Palm Beach. It has that beautiful feeling of being a little removed from the rest of Sydney, while offering some of the most incredible coastal scenery.
And after more than two decades photographing weddings here, I’ve learnt that knowing the location is just as important as knowing your camera.
Why I love photographing weddings at Palm Beach
Palm Beach is naturally beautiful, but what I love most about photographing weddings here is the variety.
Depending on the time of day, the season, the tide and even the direction of the wind, different areas can completely change. One location that might be perfect on one wedding day may not work as well on another.
That’s where years of experience really make a difference.
I’ve photographed Palm Beach weddings in all kinds of conditions, and I’ve become very good at knowing where to take my couples depending on what Mother Nature is serving up on the day.
If it’s windy, we’ll find somewhere more sheltered. If the tide is high, there are other beautiful options. If the light is incredible in one particular spot, we’ll make the most of it.
And if the weather doesn’t quite go according to plan? Don’t worry. I’ve got plenty of backup locations up my sleeve.
